Thank you for the tutorial. I love the idea... but it's a bit tricky to work out what all 4 belts are meant to do and where they go.

Hi, sorry for the confusion!

yellow belt - placed inside the bottom ring of the sweater, acts as an interface between the other belts and the cloth

purple/green belt - crotch strap

red belt - front arm loop

cyan belt - optional, holds arms together

brown belt - removes slack from the arms. makes it impossible to retreat arms back into the body of the jacket.

This is a really comfortable design. I definitely think it is worth it to make. If you want to just get a sense of what a jacket with a crotch strap feels like, you only need the first 3 belts. Following these instructions exactly is unnecessary, and I have been experimenting with swapping out different aspects for years. Do you have a question about a specific step?
