because the hand you are holding up in that image is your right hand. It's simple anatomy. So there can be only two explanations. Either you are playing around and just saying that it is your left hand, or the image is reversed due to whatever means the camera you used takes pictures.

It's the second one, only I didn't realize it was taking a mirror image I was just looking at my physical hand (not the photo) and the bird on it and thinking 'yep, that's my left hand, and I drew it with my right... I'm not crazy.'

I might advice noting that your camera takes reversed pictures on the ones you submit next time. It'll avoid all the confusion. Regardless, the birdie looks nice. Will we ever get to see the rest of your face?

I got the idea from a friend who jokingly thought it would be cool to get coloured 'freckles' tattooed in different locations, just to see how long it took someone to find them all (especially a lover XD). I found the idea hilarious but also intriguing... but I didn't want just a dot, cuz I figure that'll fade pretty fast or else could be mistake for some kind of skin cancer or something lol XD

Yeah I know several people that have blue-black colored dots from pencil lead as children. It might be mistaken as that too.

8D I can't believe you made that connection, but yeah, it's exactly why he has the coloured spots XD he's got quite a few but not all of them are visible in the comic (which is gonna pretty much be like my birds, only a few will be visible with regular clothes on XP bikinis will be the only things to reveal most).

I did wanna get a tattoo on like, my upper-outer thigh. Something to where no one would know I had it unless I said "Look I have a tattoo!" (Or in a bikini, but I dont really wear those)
I went to get it once, but the artist told me that it was too detailed to be so small (maybe 3 in tall and 2 in wide?) Personally I think he was a n00b and just didnt posses the skill to do it and I meant to take it somewhere else. But then I never did. >.<

Small tattoos are pretty easy to screw up, but I think it depends on the tattooist. It depends on how detailed it is. Simple silhouettes can be done pretty tiny, but if it's got a lot of linework inside then it'll just blur together if made too small.

Sooo many reasons T_T My associations with birds are many. I associate them with a lot of my closest friends, I associate them with inspiration and freedom and creativity, I associate them with feelings of comfort and 'home' because wherever I've lived I can always see these types of birds out my window. Birds just seem to be a reoccurring theme in my life. Originally I was just going to get seven different coloured feathers, and who knows I might still go with that, but I prefer the birds....

I would stick with the birds instead of the feathers. Good luck with them c:

Now all you'd need (in my humble opinion at least) is the bluejay design in a similar spot on your other hand, red and blue seeming opposite colours to my mind, and I have a soft spot for bluejays so think that would look amazing together!

that's the main spot on the left hand you'd cut yourself with the feathers of an arrow if you did archery, hence why I thought the title "birdy" was the reason for the cut.

Wow! This is random, but I also tend to draw birds on my hands a lot. Of course, I'm nowhere near as skilled as you. But I like to walk through the park near my house a lot, study the birds, and then draw one of them on my hand. The skin on the hand somehow seems more pliable and better for drawing.
