I do hereby present for your consideration: The Drift. An obviously artificial planetoid, hanging beneath the rings of a tidally locked Gas Giant. Said Jovian is locked with its southern pole aiming towards the sun, with the Planetoid similarly in a stable orbit above a certain latitude. This planetoid has two smaller celestial bodies accompanying it. One of which is a terrestrial body and the other is an aquatic body, making up the majority of the water in the area. Both are inhabited by its own denizens, though the Day-Night cycle of the terrestrial body is more than a little odd.

Also, with the entire inner cavity being filled with viable atmosphere, there are numerous species that have evolved to survive in the null-grav environment. Birds of Prey are common, as are whales that sing mournful songs and swim through the air. Skyships are plentiful as well, as many peoples take to the sky for life, love and liberty.
