Sonnitude's rai rai, Sparky. Better yet, he's now got a sentient tail-mate, Sumoa~
Sparky and Sumoa were born in the same village that Ray was. Akitu, a remote village home to the Glowsunes, great ancestors of the now-extinct ancient Kitsunes: Legendary, magical multi-tailed foxes of great power. Akitu is under a spell, tied to a magical ritual that causes those born within the village to gain a sentient tail, inhabited by a unique Kitsune spirit who is soulbound to you from birth, allowing the legacy of the Kitsunes to live on through others.
In Sparky's case, Sumoa is that spirit, though her preferred form is a choco-chu~ What's more, it seems that Sparky's own inflatable nature rubbed off on her, leading to some unique properties and abilities compared to most~
