With a heavy sigh, Whisper glanced out the window, wishing she could be anywhere but at her desk. She had some paperwork to complete- mostly documentation, along with some mandatory training online, and a Zoom meeting that afternoon.
Who would have thought being an assassin also meant doing boring desk work and attending meetings?! Grumbling to herself about if the pay was really worth it, she went back up to typing her notes, her gaze occasionally shifting out the window. She debated on if she could take a short break, but she already knew what would happen: that "short break" would turn into 30, 45 minutes...two hours later of not getting any work done!
Grumble.
Surrendering to the sun and its welcoming rays beaming through the window, Whisper closed up her laptop- making sure to back up her work of course, and decided to go outside and bask in the spring weather.
That work wasn't going anywhere- and it is not like they would fire her if it didn't get done! It would take too long to train someone else to do her job...besides, a few minutes of fresh air was not going to hurt right?Spoiler: Whisper did not come back in a timely manner, and ended up rushing through half a day's worth of work in less than an hour-
I may or may not be referring to myself in that regard, LOL.
Ever sat at work or in class wishing you were anywhere but there? Yeah...
While Whisper prefers being inside and left alone for the most part, when it is nice outside, she -loves- feeling the warm sun against her fur and enjoying walks outside, sitting on the porch, or just soaking in the sun to recharge her batteries!
This piece is such a mood, as I find myself glancing out my window at work sometimes trying to get in some sun and wishing I was anywhere but work! Until I remind myself I need money to buy more art so...here I am :| Welcome to adulthood folks.

But yeah, after reading some of the comments and talking to some coworkers and people around me: everyone's just tired. So very tired and burned out of life. I think the world needs a break right now, haha
I still go on my daily walks, workout, and try to stay in shape...if nothing else, to keep me sane as well, but meh. Someone needs to hurry up and invite a freaking time machine.
But thank you! I don't usually get animated art, but this idea was gorgeous so I figured why not?
We understand you Whisper, breaks taking couple of hours that feel like a minutes. God why the time is so unstable.

No, I think she'd enjoy it so much, she'd say we should all go home for the day, LOL
