It’s not the shlong, it’s the love, care and acceptance of of who it’s attached to.
… Not sure if they have a relationship beyond sex, but it has been a while, so anything could have happened off panel.
Mis and Meeka fell in love and got married in the same timeframe since Morgan and Tild met. So it’s likely their relationship has developed beyond just the physical.

I’m guessing the second option. Mis’s temple seems to attract the sort who need healing, and I’m guessing that this isn’t the first time that whatever the student is trying to heal from has caught up with them. Makes me wonder what would/will happen when the town Fen is from finds out she’s at the temple.
Mis’s prime concern when she found out was to make sure Lamb didn’t get herself killed… she’s probably come back severely injured before.
My guess is that if Morgan hadn’t run off, Mis would have sent a party after the slavers anyway. I don’t think she likes them any more than Morgan, but isn’t all bloodlust and vengeance about it.

Sort of says a lot about the father after seeing all his reactions to Lamb cornering him in that cave and his final minutes alive as he realized who had come after him. Still surprising he came back to the area where he last his son.
I would also say he wasn't very smart, either. By the sound of things, Lamb more then likely probably made the whole area around Mis's school a well know dead zone to slavers. Wasn't there any stories about warning away slavers from Mis's school?
At least Lamb can start writing a new chapter in her life, now that that monster is dead now.

Maybe, though if Lamb makes it a habit of leaving no witnesses on the slavers side of things, then maybe it never gets out that Mis's territory is one huge dead zone for slavers.
Afterall, it's probably a given that slaver groups probably have to fly under the radar even from eachother to keep from getting caught on these runs. So at the most, you might have a few ghost tales of people dissapearing in these woods, but nothing else, if even that.

If I was an escaped slave, I don't think I'd be in any rush to tell anyone. Recently escaped slaves are prime targets for slavers since nobody would notice if they went missing. Best to just keep your head down and work until you have enough to money to skip town. Apart from all that, I'd be very surprised if Mis didn't help the slaves Lamb liberated. They probably just stay at the monastery for a few days until she can arrange for travel to safer parts.
Oh, I completely agree.
But it takes a certain mindset to be able to do what she just did. The question becomes does she control it - or does it take over her? Can she put it back in its box when she doesn't need/want it? Sounds like she's boxed it for now, but she might need a little help sealing it tight. I foresee lots of therapeutic sex in her future ...

Heh, semi-party event on an overseas base included three donated cars - $5 for three minutes with a 20# sledge hammer. After they'd beat the body pretty good I had some of the guys roll one of them on their side so I could do a little transmission 'work'.
A little 'brute force' is a great way to get a semi-workout and blow off a little steam.

When most people finish a path of revenge on people, they don't usually have this type of optimistic attitude about what they've done. It's because of her self-reflection on why she felt empty, and the idea of filling her emptiness with positivity and healing that makes me love this story.
I always thought that I don't have a problem with revenge as long as that's not the only reason for what you are doing something like this, if it just for revenge then it can leave you feeling hollow in a bad way, if it's more for stuff like stopping a unrepentant monster from ever committing anymore atrocities and protecting the innocent, then I'm all for revenge like this.
You handled Lamb's psychological aspect pretty well. The kill of the last wasn't shown as something she was so glad of, like dancing around, rejoicing, and the like. More like it was -- I guess I saw relief, but also "hollow" It was something to be done, she found no joy in it.
On this page, I see regret and sadness. Perhaps she will now heal from the abuse. Great Maker knows, at times I wish things like this would happen to other abusers, dictators, and the like. But it's not my right to be such a jury and executioner. What happened to Lamb is something no one should have to go through. Money, power, and prestige are not worth hurting someone like that.
I've read your comic since the start. Your art AND your writing have improved so greatly. Feel proud.

I do have one question, the penguin. The slaves they can possibly let live at the monastery or find them a home in the near by village but, what about the teeny one? While he may have been the gentlest of the monsters. He's still a monster. And traveled with them. Is it safe to let him live? What if he attempts to contact the others in that "trade" what then?
Apologies if I'm jumping the dragon, as it were. Esteemed artist.
Just...this one hit a sour spot for me. Had to deal with slavers in Iraq. I won't got into detail but, lets just say I know EXACTLY how Morgan felt/feels
And I'm not proud of what I'm able to do, especially when I see innocent people in literal chains
