While Lux can indeed connect to all sorts of things remotely, it's hard to beat low latency high bandwidth cables. The downside of working hooked up like this is that you start feeling closer to everything you're connected to. Which is ok initially, but spend too much time like that and "reality" starts feeling like the abnormal state.
Senses and memories goes blurry, familiar concepts are lost. It doesn't matter if you're a machine, that's all you know. But teether on the borderline and it's a fine line to walk.
Especially when your machine side has one purpose, and the rest of you another.
