I'm not really sure what rights I have to these reward pieces and commissions anymore, so I will take this one and others like it down upon the artist's request. It was made public back then so I am assuming I am allowed to add it to my gallery here! Anyways, onto the happier stuff!...

If you know Mizu, you know that the best time to see her is at night, when her scales glow ethereally in the moonlight. What you might not know about her is that she LOVES being petted, despite being a wild monster that shies away from humans. But if you do somehow manage to get her comfortable around you, she will love pets you give! Head pats, rubs, boops, kisses... she loves it all! But her favorite spot is usually inaccessible in all but the rarest situations... her belly! She strongly dislikes showing her underside unless she feels really comfortable with her surroundings, which means either her mate is with her or whoever she's near is fully trustable. That's because showing it means opening her up to a lot of different vulnerabilities.
If you manage to get her comfortable enough around you, she may feel comfortable showing her underside to you-- with her cream-colored belly and her thick, silky and soft chest fur in full view! Most places under her are open for petting if she allows you, including her chest fur, her tail, and of course, her belly! She'll make a sound similar to a purr if you rub her belly, because that's how you know it feels really good to her! Like her fur, her belly feels nice too, with its smooth scales and softness. However, be wary while petting, because going below the belly and above the tail will instantly shatter her comfort with you!
