It has been decided that Ruba will return to his birthplace. In the scorching desert of the Ahmar region. He had no choice, as living in the cold and gloomy Imperial City made him lose his sense of life's purpose. He packed his belongings and embarked on his journey back to his parents home.

He starts his new life there. He is most welcome by his own clan; they even offer him a chance to be a leader one day if he can prove his worthiness to his kind.
Thats where he starts to join an academy to build up his leadership skills. Being a soldier before and older in age has its own advantages, as he graduates much earlier than his peers. He then trained with a sage to activate his occular power to see the truth and the future of his clan.

However, Ruba has to confront his fear in order to get those powers. He then headed to an oasis to conduct a forbidden ritual, which the knowledge was only passed on to a clan's leader candidate. If he succeeds in that ritual and overcomes his fears, he will be granted a power unlike any other before. However, if he fails, his life would be taken away...
