I've been having a lot of fun with it. It does feel a bit streamlined. I've noticed I've gotten to more memorable parts of the game a lot faster then I would have in the original. I'm on the fence on whether that's a good or bad thing though as I see the merits of it but it does feel like I'm going through kinda fast, but at the same time I'm about 9 hours in my first play through of it and I'm only just getting to the middle parts of the castle. Though I usually play RE games pretty slow the first time around.
