One of my characters for a Pathfinder campaign with my friends!
The Shadow Show:
The mysterious organization known only as the Shadow Show is a circus of mercenaries. Those who are offered a contract by the circus are enlisted not only to perform or work the show itself, but also serve as blades for hire under the direction of the circus’s ringmaster, Iref. Those who serve their time in the Shadow Show are promised one reward; their most desperate wish granted. Iref promises those who serve him that he can give them anything their heart desires, so long as they follow him without question.

Backstory:
On his way to work one morning, at everyone’s favorite fast food establishment, Toby Johnson clipped into the ground through his world and fell into the backrooms. Through countless days of repeating hallways and strange entities following him, he managed to stumble into a nightmare world that mirrored his own. This Silent Hill-esque land was full of monsters and through a chain of events he managed to finally open a new portal that would supposedly take him back to Earth. Though, upon entering said portal, he found himself instead in Eldafane, a mystical land of fantasy.

Of course Toby was caught off guard, but instead of seeking a way home he made the startling realization “What do you mean this world has no student debt…?” and figured maybe staying here wasn’t too bad. Of course, staying here did also mean he had a major learning curve, but using the knowledge from his original world, he began his quest to adapt to this new life. Of course, though, that meant starting with finding a new job. Unfortunately it seemed that even going to a new world didn’t mean he could escape the overwhelming power of capitalism
