Well i was waiting to post this one.

This is the poster image for a documentary developed by Gorila Films. For those that don't know, Gorila Films is the place i am doing my internship at while i keep job hunting. They do nature related documentaries and well, this was my first big assigment that wasn't related to their own image.

Cynomys is a 15 minute long documentary done by a biologist we call Pino about the population and decline of a particular endemic species of prairie dogs here in Nuevo Leon (Mexico).

I did this back in November and just now i got the word that the documentary has been shown at some colleges. A friend told me he saw a poster at his campus and that the biologist loved the documentary. That really makes me happy since this particular poster gave me nightmares while making it.

I also want to state that i did use some photographs as references for the little guys so i based the poses on the photos. I did not get paid at all, but i think it is a nice exposure so far.

I'll add the Gorila Films website when the new design is online (the current one is kinda... odd...).
