(The background is quite sloppy, but I thought it was better than no background at all.)

So what does "sloppy" mean in Finland, cause what I see doesn't match my known definition of the word.
I love this so much, though. We don't get to see Charha nearly enough.
And I don't know what places only pirates and gypsies can go to are either, but I know they must be wild.

If that's a sloppy background I'd certainly like to see a proper one!
Good work though! It looks like the start to some collection of fantastical adventures (or misadventures perhaps). Cheery and happy and full of puppies and kittens but still with a tasteful hint of dark mystique.
I certainly hope Mr. Grammont doesn't forget his hat. It's a nice hat.

The cobblestones are just this one big brush, actually... and the windows. I made the cobblestone brush by turning this old picture into greyscale and fiddling with the contrast options. Then I turned it into a negative and made it into a brush. After that all it needed was some toning and a little bit of that opacity brush I generally use way too much. Cheap but fast.

°O I-am-spech-less!!!!! Many, many, many, many thanks! This really outshines my amateurish attempts. Wonderful piece, not a bit sloppy, and the way you catched my character is just phenomenal! There's so much detail in it, even the bound curl on his left brow!
Again many, many thanks!

Haha, yeah! Burning down the dockside. =D
I'm super happy that you like how this came out. And really, it was the least I could do as a return gift for the wonderful pictures you drew for me. And if you feel up to it, I'd like to try some of that RPing with you at some point. I have a feeling it could be fun. =)

It will be a special pleasure and honour, M'lady. But not now, it's kinda late in the German Empire, and I am going to write a latin exam tomorrow...So nothing else remains to be done than to wish ya a wonderful night, sweet dreams of Neverland and a sunny, cloudless new day 'til we shall meet again!
Et sur ce, bonsoir !

Heh, now that I'm working on actual commissions I haven't had as much time to concentrate on my own projects as before... But there are two comics I haven't coloured yet. I'm going to post the other one soon.
I'm quite flattered that you remembered my comic. There will be more of it, rest assured. =)

Michel just lost his hat :P
I love that they're cavorting and so happy!
I see what you mean about the background, but I really like the lighting it creates.
Anyway, those aren't easy poses, but they look natural and right.
And Charha's breasts are actually well proportioned. Yay for busty, 'modest' females!
Sorry, this last point always gets to me.
