I'll admit I've been on a-bit of a new character bend lately ^^;
Say hello to the latest member of my cast, Olsea!
Olsea is a Demideity who has been around just about as long as Viktoria and rather than having a specific domain she is instead the head of what could best be described as the the Ynaaverse's "Divine OSHA"
Name : Olsea (Ole - sea)
Title : Head of Divine OSHA
Species : Golduck
Size : Base 6'4'' ; Max ~424,000 Lightyears
Personality : Professional, calculating, observant, kind
Relations :
- Good friends with and works frequently with Viktoria
- Frequently speaks with Trorse and Niikalei about their shenaniganry
- Works frequently with Ynaa on safety improvements in the Ynaaverse
- Calls on Axelia and Lahr to help fix safety issues discovered
Abilities :
- Aura of Safety and Resiliance -
Being the head of Divine OSHA in the Ynaaverse, it wouldnt do for Olsea to accidentally cause damage to planets she steps on or allow the quaking of her steps to break machinery, so she has an aura of safety and resiliance active around her at all times. This aura ensures that her presence does not cause any sorts of damage or harm to individuals, structures, machines, or any matter whatsover in a radius of approximately one hundred lengths of her body relative to her size. While usually invisible, it sometimes manifests as a cyan blue haze between her and whatever she may damage if the aura was not present. Olsea can extend this aura to protect individuals in it in case something unfortunate happens not related to Olsea's presence, but generally does not so as to limit the effect her presence has on how people act.
Olsea has been a Demideity in the Ynaaverse for many thousands of years and ascended to her position roughly around the same time as Viktoria. Her origins are largely lost to time and even she has forgotten the details of where she came from and how she ascended, but since her ascension her role as a Demideity has remained largely consistent. With her Aura of Safety and Resiliance along with lingering feelings of responsibility from her earlier life, Olsea quickly fell into a role of making sure that her fellow divines were working in safe environs and that mortal races of sufficient advancement were also working and living in low risk settings.
Over the millenia and as more Demideities and Nephilim-tier individuals slowly joined the ranks, Olsea began forming a loose network of like-minded individuals who would work together to better keep an eye out for workplace safety across both the Demideific pantheons and for large groups of mortals among races that had knowledge of the Demideities and/or had achieved interstellar travel. Not wanting to interfere with the development of societies still making their way off their homeworlds and also a fair number not wanting to accidentally end up being worshipped because of the awkwardess of all that.
As their numbers grew, they eventually formed into a more formal organization and chose to call themselves the Divine Occupational Safety & Health Administration (named after a similar organization one of their members once belonged to before their own ascension). Seeing as how Olsea had been the first of their number and had long been leading the charge and had even been the one to start bringing them all together, she was elected as the leader of their new organization and she has held this role and title ever since.
In her duties, Olsea is also considered to be among the most skilled at performing safety inspections regardless of whether those being investigated are a divine pantheon or mortals on a station too near a star. She is also fairly well known for the rather unique approach she tends to take for more up close inspections where she makes use of her well endowed and well kept figure in combination with an impressive ability to 'strut her stuff' to confirm that those who are being inspected for their safety compliance are also able to maintain their focus well enough to not be distracted by her. This also sometimes involves taking on a disguise to secretly perform her inspections when not expected. This strategy has proven very effective both in secret and scheduled inspections and lead to a great many improvements in workplace safety universe-wide.
When not "on the job", Olsea has developed a passion for finding worlds with extensive warm beaches with plentiful sunshine and enjoying a pleasent day on said beaches. Always taking on a size to mostly match the population of the world but standing around a head taller than the usual tallest members. She enjoys a pleasent day on the beach, she also does have a side of her that revels in showing off her form. However, even though she's enjoying her days off on the beach she still wears her role and acts as an unofficial lifeguard for the local stretch of beach.
While Olsea's memories of her homeworld and ancient life are vague and largely lost to time, she does still remember that her love of warm beaches comes from her homeworld and its own endless beaches and islands. She wonders too if she will someday manage to find it again, but until then she remains happy and content with her life and role.

She began as an adoptable created by
foxfencer (that picture to be posted in around 10 minutes) and after I picked her up the idea crafting began ^^;
The original design had her in that onepiece swimsuit with the whistle and the concept of her being a lifeguard... But while I did definitely like the concept it didn't feel like quite enough yet to fully build up who she was. This then lead into trying to figure out where she could fit into the cast and where there were areas that could do with some more development.
Asking myself those questions then made me realize two things. First, the Demideity tier really feels like it has the least going on inside of it and compared to the rest of the tiers it feels oddly bereft of activity. Second, the addition of Axelia over in the Mortal tier (and her ability to temporarily hop into the Demideity tier) and her not being native to the same planet so much of my cast is from has brought about the concept that I can really start expanding on the wider home universe and galaxy of my cast (except for Kyra as she's from a different universe). So taking those two realizations I was able to come up with the idea that Olsea is in the Demideity tier and then building also off of that original lifeguard idea that she's involved in keeping people safe in some way. So as a-bit of a placeholder I thought up that she's sort-of the head of the Ynaaverse's "Divine OSHA"... But then just like with what happened with Kyth's "Goddess of HUGS" placeholder a-few years back, I just ended up becoming really attached to the idea XD
So! Now this also means I've got two characters in Axelia and Olsea who can work well to build up this new part of the Ynaaverse that's the Demideities, Nephilim, and Mortals who are not from that single world that thre quarters of my cast are from! ^^
As for Olsea's name, I've already forgotten how the name came about, but I ended up settling on it because I liked how it sounds like "Old sea." Old for how she's among the most ancient of my cast and "Sea" because of water.
Finally, her outfits at this point are the original lifeguard onepiece swimsuit with whistle from her adoptable pic and a new "Goddess" outfit I came up for her! With her goddess outfit I was aiming for something that's a mix of design elements Viktoria has in her outfit along with some way to include orange like those orange safety vests you see in workzones and the like. While it's much simpler than Viktoria's, I've gotta say I quite like this one for its simplicity! Also my current thinking is that the planetwear she has is all unihabitted by sentients. Acting more as just simply fashion but also serving as emergency shelters for Mortals Olsea comes across if such shelter is needed.
