Recruiters will typically ask questions based on one of two themes. First, questions that are relevant to the job you are applying to. These questions can be highly scripted, usually to aid the recruiter. Just know that the recruiter may not be able to respond to follow-up questions due to their shallow knowledge of the position/trade. Second, they will ask you HR related questions.
