Sad Backstory
The king of Moonfairy and son of Moonfairy and Woodlock, Ciarán is a compassionate ruler who swore loyalty to his people above all else, even if that meant sacrificing his own happiness. His childhood was horribly lonely, but when he stumbled across a den of wolves, he found a family that cared about him and taught him their ways. When the wolves left, he struggled to connect to other humans and was constantly paranoid of being abandoned by his parents as well as they began having more kids.
Ciarán was eventually chosen to lead the kingdom and when wolves returned and threatened his people, he made the impossible decision to kill the wolves. The blood of that night never went away, and now he suffers from constant nightmares of his wolf family falling to the brutality he wasn't aware he possessed. Eventually, he found that he liked the way brutality felt against people outside of his kingdom and grew into a king bloodthirsty for war in a vain attempt to mask that emptiness and helplessness growing inside him. To his people, he was collected and fearless, leading them into battle, but deep inside, he was loosing control of his own mind.
