Rodent has a weakness for pathetic-looking creatures, and betrugers fill that roll wonderfully. So, when one happened to wander by, Rodent couldn't help but want to make friends with it. The betruger seemed to enjoy having a little rat as a friend, and showed his affection in the best way he knew... by picking the rat up in his mouth and playfully nomming on him. Of course, what's playful for a betruger might be a bit more for a small rat. ;)
I've always loved Manda's betruger creatures, and Gravey did a beautiful job with portraying this one. He just looks absolutely adorable sitting there with Rodent in his mouth. I love the way his teeth are wrapped around Rodent, with the rat just dangling there all relaxed and pleased at having such a playful friend. :D
My thanks to Gravey for taking this commission and doing such an awesome job with it; and to Manda for being such a wonderful person and friend.

aweee thank you so much ah ha it def cheered me up, i just happend to be having another sort of crummy day. this got a big smile on my face tho. she did sucha good job drawin mah beastie, i cant get over how fucking adorable those blue eyes are

I'm sure Rodent believes the betruger knows how to be gentle with a friend in his mouth, though of course as you say, big brutes don't always know what they're doing until it's too late... for their friends.
