Anyhow I hope you like this Mabarial and that i haven't done something to insult/assault your senses with this. (Honestly, I can't tell at the moment x_x) But was good to get into to loosen up drawing muscles that I've been neglecting for aeons. :D

You are an evil, evil person! This isn't a sketch at all! I love you. <3
This is absolutely beautiful, and way more than I was expecting, even before you said it was just going to be a sketch. You put a lot of detail into this, especially with the shading and coloring, which I don't see in the rest of your gallery. I even so much as feel a little spoiled for getting so much from just a simple little comment. You nailed Mabel right on with the expressions, and did a wonderful job with such little information I had for Meara's description. You even thought to add her spots, and included her bag, which I found really thoughtful of you.
The angle and mood of the piece is exactly how I imagined it. You work wonders with such a simple description. ^^
Thank you so much for this, it really is too wonderful.

^^ That you like this piece makes me happier with it. After a while working on something for a while all you start to see is what you've done wrong and where things could be improved. I guess it's like when you spend too much time in your own thoughts self reflecting, All you start to see is what's wrong and you miss the point entirely. That regardless of how you feel about yourself or what you've been through or done in your life you aren't always seen as the person you may grow to despise yourself for, And if you're lucky enough to have someone in your life that loves you for who you are it's one of the hardest lessons to learn but thoroughly one of the most rewarding <3
I'm so happy you like my drawing and hope that I can draw more in the future that can encourage such a response.

I do that a lot with my art, too, probably a lot more than I should, but it's one of the ways that we see our flaws and try to improve upon it, and helps us grow as an artist, and when self reflecting, as a person. There does come a time, however, that you just need let it go and be happy with how you've improved so far. No one gets to see anything but your doubts and flaws otherwise, and you can't spend time enjoying what you've done right. There will always be a time for the endless struggle for self improvement, and it gets distracting I know, especially for those with low self-esteem. Having someone love you for all your flaws is hard to come by, though I do agree it's probably the most rewarding lesson to learn. <3
If you're ever in the market for commissioners, I wouldn't mind at all getting another scene or two drawn by you, and I'll always have the same thoughts when it comes to artistic freedom, discussing ideas and no time frame to be finished by, though I understand if you need to discipline yourself in some way with such limits. ^^

I saw the bag right away x3 This is amazing, even the little detail of Mabel clinging tightly to the paw, clutching them as if she's afraid to be alone but with her curled up legs keeping Meara from getting too close. A bit of a subconscious effort to keep herself distanced from all the abuse and heartache in her past? Little things like that just make this more amazing.
