image description: an anthropomorphic south china tiger and ring tailed lemur hold each other. They both have stern, angry and defensive expressions and they are looking at the viewer. A single piece of cloth with the trans flag colors drapes around each of their shoulders. They are surrounded by rainbow patterns and text that reads "we will never be eradicated".

As people push to take our rights away, to erase our existence, I want us to remember that we have always been here, and here we will remain. I want to keep fighting, for the people who never got to come out, or who did but werent safe anymore for doing so. We deserve to have normal lives, unbothered by malicious people. And though there is much we have to deal with, please dont forget how important our joy is.
I wanted to make an art piece to represent the anger and aggression i feel at current oppression of trans people, but please dont forget our joy is here too, and that it is important; and any moment you feel happiness in creating, connecting, or doing something you enjoy, you are resisting in such a powerful way. you are carrying the warmth our community needs to stay alive.
