Strangely enough, if you zoom in on this character's left eye and nose, the cropped frame almost resembles the beginning of Jake's initial morph into a golden retriever near the start of the Animorphs live-action TV series.
Also, one question: how common is it for dogs to have beards and/or mustaches?
