  CopperM loves shinies, like any ferret. What were the odds he'd get paired with one of the few pokémon who actually has a shiny? It was inevitable, really. (Don't worry, he gave it back.)

I think this is the first piece where I feel I've paced myself correctly while making it. If you follow the progression over on twitter (click on the tweet that says "next", it'll take you to another tweet that also has a "next", and so on), I feel like I did an acceptable amount each day without losing too much time off my dayjob. The main challenge with this one was, unsurprisingly, the armor (for both Copper and Kadabra). I'd honestly thought it would be the skulls, but that came easy when I got to it.

The background is based off the Free Battle arena in Pokémon Stadium 2, which is based off of National Park in Pokémon Gold/Silver/Crystal. Am I saying if Copper found a Kadabra in the park, he'd play "keep away" instead of catching it? Of course not, but ferrets do like shinies.

This is an exceptionally short Kadabra: Copper's canon height is 2 ft (60 cm), and the pokédex height for Kadabra is 3 ft. However, as I noted on the original sketch, my internet wasn't working right that that day, and I couldn't get the image to load

What I can't explain is why, this being the second Kadabra I've drawn, I made it female as well, when 75% of Kadabras in the wild are male.

Once again, anybody wants any of the pokémon sketches colored, modified to fit a different sona, or touched up, let me know and I'll do it for cheap.
