A poem about someone who has achieved forgiveness, only for him or her to be unble to forgive themselves. Sometimes, someone can't let go of their guilt even after the situation is resolved and nothing bad else comes of it's resolution. And it is this guilt that slowly starts to eat a person alive as they achieve to seek redemption for something they've already achieved forgiveness for.
I know I've had this feeling a few times. And I hope you'll see this feeling as written in this sonnet in iambic pentameter.
I know i don't normally post these kinds of work here on FA, and i mainly posted this on my DeviantArt account. I'm mostly known for stories and Pokephilia on this site. But this is indeed one of my more heartfelt poems, and i felt that i needed to show this to a wider audience. And I hope you all enjoy the message this poem has to give.
A kind soul will know what this is all about.
