Harald is a career soldier. Entering the service of Lord Argyle as a squire, he quickly made his way through training due to his impressive physique and eye for tactics. Quickly attaining his knighthood, he served in the Knights Arisen's former incarnation, performing with distinction. Until that fateful day, when the order met it's match in it's disastrous battle against the mercenary band known as the Phylakitai. Harald was one of the only survivors, and the only knight to escape to tell the tale. The order being effectively destroyed, he returned to uphold his duty, to protect the now orphaned Gwynned. He would tutor and guide his young ward until he came of age, at which stage he'd serve as Gwynned's second in command as they began the arduous task of rebuilding their order.

Harald is a shrewd, intelligent knight tempered by years of action and hardship. He is a dedicated, tough, and grizzled soldier who wields his boarding axe with skill and brute force.
