This is a very fascinatingly drawn comic. Though admittedly the word bubbles and they way they're shaped give me this weird impression that they're either blowing smoke while talking or sometimes even slobbering while they're talking the way some of them look like they're dripping and flowing.
Anyways though, love the character designs and expressions. Very nice.

yeah! it's intentional - whispy sentences are assigned cloud or smoke-like shapes, heavy ones thick drippy shapes (heavy as in, hard to say bc of emotions associated.) which, well, drooling does make talking hard hahah, and that's the sort of vibe i'm going for.
