It is so overwhelmingly appropriate of you to take on this project! You have proven yourself a master of blending heartwarming closures, charming wit and exposing the darkest depths of parapsychological depravity and body horror, and every new page you share of "Felidae" illustrated falls into place perfectly, and feels like the story could only have ever been told in this style, even those the animated film was amazing in its own right.
I'm sure Mr. Lecter (cattified) and Pascal would have a lot to discuss if they ever locked in the same room.

Awww, thank you very much! That was one of the reasons I took on this project: the original book is such a great emulsion of delicious humor, heartbreaking drama, touching and scary scenes - literally everything I love ^w^
I'm taking a break from Drawtober this year, but in the future I'd like to try illustrating other books in the series... They're not as good, but still pretty fun and interesting!

Any new illustrations you might make -- even if it's just the cover and a couple scenes -- would warrant an FA-wide celebration, for every one of your previous projects were things of beauty and daring creative vision.
It is always a powerful catalyst to "what if?" daydreaming whenever the characters who are fated to come to terrible, bloody confrontation are having this meeting of the minds. It will all be turned to ash a little further down the line, but in the moment, you can imagine them to be good fellows.
