Made this art for a few reasons - trying to get active with One Piece again, favorite One Piece character's birthday, and someone crawled into one of my Tumblr ask boxes (not the one for the art blog) to make a request for a Brook + Y/N character thing while requests weren't open and I haven't made my own position on Y/N content clear.
So of course the appropriate response is 'no but I'll use my Self-Insert character'. And Jeanne the cat because she's my Self-Insert's shoulder pet by default.
In other news, ended up doing a style of speed shading to get it done in time that turned out really nice, so I might use it more in the future.
