And so we finally see what Rick was so excited to discover: The beautiful mess that is the Keeton Underground.
I held off a little on uploading this page because I wasn't super confident in my background skills, but I put a lot of time and effort into this scenery, so it would be a shame to not share it. Honestly, looking at it again, it really does fill me with an unexpected happiness to finally draw out one of the major locations in my stories. The Underground is a huge deal for a large number of my cast, and I've always had an image of it in my head but never before was able to draw it. The hanging crystals for light and the repurposed buildings were really fun to conceptualize.
And, yes, this really is a city beneath Keeton City itself.
