My part of the (new) art trade between me and Owlor.
It's Memory,
Owlor's cat girl from the land down under.
I tried to give her that whole Australian Crocodile Dundee look, but I don't know how it turned out... I suppose it makes her look kinda sexy, even though she normally wears 120% more clothing than this. Oh well. :3
Terrible background, I know. But I felt like I just had to slap on something, the picture he did for me had a much cooler background. I wonder how he did it.

Lotsa overlays bacisally, I had one overlay with old newspapers, one to get the color right, one to get the more subtle color highlights, one with an inkblot to get the splash and one with the purple splashes, which was originally suppsoed to be red, but I realized that'd make it look too mught like blood rather than dripping ink.
I think the hat turned out great, and well, its hot in australia, so I guess it makes sense. I really like the feathers in her hair, thats a nivce look.

The hat was my primary concern. You sounded so hell bent into having me draw her with some sort of hat. I even got a reference and all.
The feathers I think look a little out of place, but I wanted to have something adorning her head. Maybe if they were a different color.

Yeah, th hat is prolly th emost recognizable part of her outfit, so it needed to be included, but you did a great job on it.
Well, I likd the feathers and I think the color is fine. It might be that they look a bit out of place cus she has a mostly basic outfit overall except for those acessoaries, something like say a shark tooth necklage might have helped it look less out of place.
Don't get me wrong, it's nothing you need to add, I think it looks fine as it is, I really enjoyed it, espescially the short-shorts.
