I am not an artist, but am considering the use of thin outlines on the eggs as well, as they seem to be in the foreground too. Thinking that then they integrate a bit nicer but not take away from how the character is drawn attention to being all that is outlined. I like the sky, but think the abstraction of greenery in the background could use a bit more of something, as it looks fine but my brain keeps wanting to figure out what it is. If the commision was not for flat color, would love to see some shading and/or highlights.

ah no i think i know what i did wrong, i forgot to re-add the lining for the background/eggs
just to breakdown what you're saying:
1. every commission i do is always coloured
2. the background/extras i'm still learning as i go, it's not something you can just do right away. i'm figuring out new brushes and styles to try out.
3. as much as i appreciate the feedback, but i do not do shading/highlighting, i'm not a professional, nor do i plan to be.
