The first time I ever seen a Laserdisc was at my aunt's 1979 Pioneer player and the first movies I saw was Jaws. My aunt got me a 1989 Pioneer for cheap to take with me to PA and still have it. I randomly photo just some of over 1000+ movies I own.
Also got to fix my old 1991 Pioneer LD/CD player to work to view some old photo on my Twitter HERE - https://twitter.com/Atariboy1/statu.....79126145540098

Wow, impressive! Especially since you said you had 1000+ . It's great of you to hold onto these. I hope they're in good shape! Physical copies like this might become incredibly important to prevent these movies from becoming lost media, because companies are editing editing digital versions so the originals could be lost. Thank you very much for preserving things like these!
no rescuers down under? better than hercules , see the ducktales movie always nice and well I see the lion king is a monster all by itself size wise seeing star wars better versions that what we have now (thank you mr lucas for nothing) nihms a great find and lifeforce is an odd one

Obsolete entertainment systems can be fascinating. Myself, I own a 1925 Victor Orthophonic Credenza spring powered phonograph, and collect 78 rpm records to play on it when I can find ones I think are interesting. The oldest record I own is from 1902 (Hunting Scene by the City Band Of Providence, Rhode Island), the newest 1955 (Sh-Boom by the Cords). I know people who collect eight-track tapes, and others who are into reel-to-reel, and the LP crowd has kept that format alive and kicking in spite of CDs. There is one problem- Can you find the equiptment to play this stuff on? Working equiptment, that is, because if some things break down you can never fix or replace it.
