I just do guys, unless there's no reason to give em a gender, in which they don't have em, such as in the case for Zapp: It was a creation, and Dinochi Dactyl: It is a toy.

Did you have 71 characters, thought about making a grid, but then realized 71 was a prime number, so you made an extra character to have a nice 9 x 8 grid, or is it just me?
