I am Venn. I have been called. I am called to my destiny and shall forever answer. If I falter, all will falter. If I fail, all hope is lost. I will not fall; surrender is not an option. I am the guardian. We are the sentinels. I take my garb from the hand of providence. I take my bracer, never to use it in anger. I know in my heart that I may never return, yet I venture forth without fear. We are Venn. We have been called. We know that every moment we exist is a gift we must earn anew each day. If we must relinquish this life that others may live, we do so without hesitation. We go to the dark places where no one else dares venture. We are the guards, the keepers, the seekers, and the warders. We never waver in our vigilance and on our watch. We stand on the bridge between history and the future, allowing no darkness to pass.

My oath, given when I was but thirteen, and as bright in my heart and in my soul as on that day when I took my outfit and my psi-amp bracer from my teacher. I have traveled on alien-made starships across unknown stars, buried in the midst of those who think they know me and believe their senses often far too much. It leads them down chaotic paths where I am forbidden to interfere. In the last two months, though, I have taken the time to settle in, waiting for instructions from home, here on this world. I roam the streets of its' main city, an elsewise-quiet suburb, and do my duty as Venn - find problems and solve them. For a so-called Utopia, there are a lot of these little problems needing attention. I think my Clan will find itself right at home among this Commonwealth, yes I do - it has so many, OH! so many problems in need of help.
