I'm trying to make my current hearing aids last as long as I can (and resist buying new ones as long as I can) and in the meantime am trying to slowly save up money for them. I estimate I would need about $4k for the hearing aids and additional hearing aid stuff (like a lil mic), warranty extensions and the like.

Any money I save for hearing aids would be like a discount towards them when my current ones finally kick the bucket (they last 3-7 years, mine are about 4-5 years old now and past warranty)
