Pretty much, yeah.
But you wanna know the _really_ fun part?
In the hour since this comic was posted, the same thing happened to more than 100 children.

Welcome to real life.
Looking forward to this, Rukis. I'm feeling for both of these characters...you've got some powerful themes going on.

I actually like the slavery idea. Not something I'd do IRL, but in a comic like this it creates for a very good story. Some RPGs I have played as well have a section where the main character is forced into a brief slavery as well. Usually it ends well with him getting away. We'll have to see where the author takes this story. Either way I can't wait!
I may have to lower Amon's bubbles so you understand that Dhaval's comment comes first. The problem is that most European languages read left to right, so I'm guessing you're assuming Amon's bubble was first. . . when in actuality, he's responding to Dhaval's bubble. I read a LOT of manga, so I tend to arrange my bubbles a little too Japanese, at times.
I get kind of confused by the positioning of your speech bubbles, as well.
When two bubbles are side-by-side, I believe the rule for reading in English is you do the left one first, because we read from left-to-right, then up-to-down.
Move Amon's bubbles down a bit, and it'll be a lot easier to figure out order-of-operations.

oh, no, I did understand that Dhaval was speaking first, just not why he said 'Where am I? you wont answer me' in the same bubble. It just sounds weird; i dont understand why he's saying that Amon wont answer him.
also if you are going to do right to left bubbles, then the panels need to be that way as well, otherwise you'll have us reading backwards X__X

this talk of land and slaves reminds me of Right In Two http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLjrD-oXkhA
Still very well done. :) Poor guy, I feel for him. I would just second two comments made earlier; the tiger's face in the first panel looks too excited / Christmas morning, and the speech bubbles need to be fixed in places to make it clear who is talking first. Manga may read from right to left but it also arranges the panels from right to left, and anyway, 95% of your readers are going to be coming from a Western background. :)
not quite how I'd imagined the conversation to go. I expected the canine to be more cold and maybe a breaking/broken will.
This scene makes me thing he has a sharp wit, and is holding him self together very well even being a slave. In fact I would expect an him to be the head of an escape plan not before to long. The canine is turning out to be a very strong personality. *grabs popcorn and continues watching*
