Well, this story hit me in another way. Why? I am an amputee. my left leg does not reach to the ground. I have a prosthetic and that allows me to drive, but as Kantuck wrote there are things that teach you the value of things. like close friends. You learn their value when you loose one. Their time on earth is over, and all you can do is cry for their passage. I have lost a leg, so I look longingly at pretty girls with both legs. The whole affair has taught me the value of health, of having both your legs. being of whole body has value, as I have unfortunately found.
I used to think that marketing was important, I thought it was easy to achieve the shallow goal of being popular, but in fact, it's pretty much completely random what those histrionic monkeys play on YouTube. But now I just don't want to be a part of the same mass media that hypnotizes people into forking money over with clichés and drivel. People like your dog and your close friends, the "nobody"s and starving artist types who die in poverty and leave a tiny fading legacy, they are truly the spirit of the animal cognition and creativity ❤️ They don't care about how society tries to oppress them in favor of a truly individual nature.

All of us have challenges in life. I'm firmly convinced 'Challenge' is one of Life's requirements.
Maturing and gaining wisdom is or can be a relative thing, but if we're fortunate, we'll all get to sample them to some degree?
Getting through life-changing events, usually when the catalyst is catastrophe is especially grueling, but if you can achieve it, the rewards are immeasurable in a capitalistic/material way. What it does for your heart/soul is priceless!
I too was once rendered homeless, destitute, only my two critters giving me the motivation to continue.
I too received unexpected, outside help. A literal 'Hand(s)' offering me a help 'Up' (As opposed to a 'Hand-out'). Sometimes we need help, and if we're damned lucky, we find and receive it. It's still up to us to take responsibility and live our life as well as we can w/o becoming a burden on others.
I'm forever happy that I did! Just reading your Post, my Catto leapt onto my lap, purring and demanding attention, and of course my Doggo, seeing this, had to lay HIS head on what's left for space, demanding the same. Many ear/cheek/forehead smoochies later, I was able to finish this reply to you, smiling and a tad teary eyed. They've a 6th Sense when it comes to me/my mental/emotional state(s). I feel Blessed for their presence!
Thank you, and again, it's so nice to see/'Meet' another person in this genre that is so relatable!
I'm not sure my feelz can endure reading much more in one sitting, but I'm gonna be checking through the rest of your site as fast as I can manage it!)
