I feel like I should put some note into this and a note about myself. I was diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos when I was roughly 4 years old. I have hypermobility with my joints and suffer from bruising issues. The form of the disease hasn't impacted my internal organs heavily, but it could change. Most people who experience this face hardship through physical pain and other mobility related struggles. It's important to know that while my diagnosis hasn't impacted me on a life changing level, others face the reality of living with more then just minor inconveniences. January is Ehlers Danlos Awareness month and its important that our bodies may have looser strings that we are still human.
