Big, warm bunny *Hugs* go to eliki for this wonderful little piece of gift art. He really does spoil me so much! A little while ago I mentioned to him that I had it in mind to commission an artist for a little icon I could use for my story submissions. I've got so many icons already but, as I said to him, I wanted to use something that the artist understood would be used as submission thumbnails instead of just hijacking a user icon. And today, this cute little picture landed in my in-box. Plus he gave me permission to upload it as a regular submission as well. He really is such a sweetheart.
Believe it or not, when Niamh isn't out making trouble, or flirting with half the civilized world, she's actually a huge bookworm. She takes a different book to bed with her every night, and she isn't particularly choosy as long as it has an interesting plot. She's kind of like her creator in that way.
I have to say, too, (because I believe I'm contractually obliged to at this point!) that I love her outfit. Eliki always dresses Niamh up in the best clothes, and I always, always want them for myself. His art is always incredibly adorable, too. If you haven't checked his gallery out yet, go and take a look! His Snowkitten girls just leave Miss Niamh in the dust.

Only half the civilised world? She's slipping!
And this is a wonderful drawing. That perfect expression of contented engrossment (which probably isn't a word, but you know what I mean) and of course, as you said, that lovely outfit Niamh's wearing. (My goodness, art by Eliki being great? Whatever next, a rabbit with ears?) All self-respecting rabbits should be bookworms. The correct habitat for a bunny would seem to be anywhere with great piles of interesting stuff, books included, around the place. I can happily sign up for that!

You're right, too, that the only natural habitat for a rabbit is surrounded by all sorts of fun and interesting things. The whole world is our toy, after all! Or should be, at any rate.

*Snuggles* It's wonderful, it really is. Thanks again for letting me upload it here, and for letting me use it as a story icon. I plan to figure something out for that just as soon as I can.
Her outfit is really pretty, and she wouldn't have the least problem with wearing trousers. In fact, at one point, I had all but decided that her default outfit was a t-shirt and cargo pants, rather similar to the outfit that Jess has worn in some of her pictures. Minus the collar of course. Which would have been hugely anachronistic for Miss Niamh, but I think it's a cute look anyway. She normally wears skirts because I'm vain, but pants of any kind would never be a problem. I did notice you drew her wearing her glasses, and she looks so cute with them on! So thank you for that, too.
