Hey, OK, so some mysterious process has gone and turned you into a rubber hose (see https://www.furaffinity.net/view/51570878/ ). On the bright side, you can lounge around so much more completely. And you might be making new friends, like the Blue Racer, probably(?) the snake that got very interested in The Pink Panther's super-long tail that one cartoon ( 'Pink-Tails for Two', https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yp6_9VuqLyQ ).
The 'arms' are very much inspired by that bit in furry Robin Hood where Sir Hiss curves back around so he can cross his 'arms'. It's shakier than the Disney folks did it but, I mean, what could I do, take my time and think the anatomy out carefully before drawing? You know me better than that.

Yeah, that poor snake. Always felt for him and, watching the cartoon these days, just feel all the more impressed how much personality they put into a limbless, voiceless character who gets a slice of one cartoon. (Even if he is meant to be the Blue Racer, that's a character that had to be reintroduced to an audience we can suppose forgot him by then.)
I didn't realize how much fun coil pseudo-arms could be. Going to have to draw more of them, if nothing else, as a way to get myself better at anatomy.

Love how he kinda made "arms" for himself by coiling his body is some specific ways, he really is a cool looking character. Though i now wonder how much those "arms" could actually do when it comes to interacting with the world. Kinda wonder if he could coil himself up in a certain way to get "legs" again too
Aw, thank you. I've seen some snake character art where they curl up enough to have something that looks like an arm or leg (as mentioned above, Sir Hiss crossing his 'arms' is a big influence there, but there's some Naga's Den pictures that explore similar neat themes). I suppose it depends how clever the hose turns out to be.
I loved the way you gave this hose personality. It was very interesting and funny xD
Although it was never my favorite cartoon, Blue Racer recently became my favorite character. It's a shame that this character is so forgotten and obscure, even on furaffinity you won't find many drawings about him. It's good to see him here. I loved seeing that there is someone who likes this animation! Your drawing is very beautiful and cute 🐍😊💜

Aw, thank you, most kind. I do like the hose/snake poses, particularly doubling the body's tube back and forth to make arms and legs or such. It takes planning out the pose, which I don't do enough of, but should.
I don't specifically remember watching Blue Racer cartoons as a kid, that one Pink Panther cartoon excepted, although I'd surely have if they were run at all. I watched all the DePatie-Freleng cartoons enthusiastically, even Hoot Kloot, so maybe I just need to search out the Blue Racer cartoons and they'd come back to me.

The way you planned the pose was really well done. I don't judge you, after all, giving a spaghetti character a pose is not something easy to do, especially in perspective where the cylindrical and squishy body like a snake changes size and volume at each angle and distance... wow , just explaining it is difficult to understand!
About Blue Racer, on YouTube there are all 17 episodes in a playlist that someone made. Warning that it is not the most incredible animation you would watch, but if you like very silly and less profound humor, it is a cool animation to relax

Thank you; I appreciate the supportive words. It's a fun challenge actually thinking out the anatomy before starting to draw but, I think anyone looking over my gallery will agree, the fact I see it as a challenge is part of why my shapes are so, uh, let's say loose and improvised.
Now the animation quality on Blue Racer doesn't bother me. DePatiie-Freleng might be my favorite of the limited-animation studios. You can feel all the theatrical full-animation experience brought to bear in the character design and movement and timing.
