I've been trying to reconnect with the stuff that I like, like drawing, before school starts dominating all my time again. I pulled up some reference photos of leopards and sketched the one on the left. I got lazy with the spots, and drawing from references is more work than I remember, but it's good. On the right, I have the first draft of a new character for a comic maybe? I've still got work to do figuring out what I want him to look like, but man, using references works wonders. He should probably also have spots, but if he's gonna be a comic character I probably don't wanna do that because that would be torture to draw every panel.
