I practiced making quick sketches of animals. Each sketch was drawn 10-15 minutes maximum.
There are sites where you can choose a category of images (animals, people, architecture) and set a timer to draw them.
This is done in order to learn to see and draw from the general to the particular. Do not get hung up on details at the very beginning, be able to quickly fix the overall pose, proportions and anatomy. And only then start to detail. And at the same time, you need to meet the given time.
I still remember how in art school they told me that a still life should look complete at any moment. Even if 30 minutes have passed, and not 4 hours allotted for it.
In my case, I also draw digitally in order to "fill my hand", because almost all my life I have been drawing only with traditional materials.
