im not really comfortable with equating “human” to “god”, mainly because when I hear that equation from others, they imply that there’s still some sort of distinction - that god is the “””higher self”””, and the human is the “lowly flesh version”. and it’s vaguely anthropocentric - the implication that because humans constructed god, they must be some sort of divinely unique compared to other organisms. i don’t feel that way at all. to me, there is no difference, and there is no higher authority that somehow exists outside of myself.
