Finally got around to sketching some of "Ol' Bushel Britches". Done with reference. Though I did take some liberties and changed a few things. My next take on him will be completely redone, with different clothes and everything. Until then, hope you enjoy this one!

Hmmm, I have always studied from the cartoon styles from the past. A great book for you to get is Preston Blair's "Animation: Learn How to Draw Animated Cartoons." That will be much better than a tutorial from me as I always practice drawing in the manner in that book. Here is a link to how it looks on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Animation-Lea.....amp;amp;sr=1-2
However I have seen the book at bookstores and art stores like Michael's. It is an amazing book and will definitely help you out. I focus on elements such as shapes, squash and stretch. I also study anatomy and practice realism all the time, but I don't post them.

Nice sketching the sheriff was always one of my favorite disney characters despite his negative role. I wish I could draw him this well, I've always wanted to see what the sheriff would look like in his later years. Retired and a little grey, maybe even a bit rounder and wider in the waist
I always thought he was a very original character in personality and design. I had never seen a wolf drawn that way. I really appreciate your comment. Well he may not be alot older, but I am doing my own design of him and changing his attire ad I plan to include him in my crossover comic, K-9 Agency.
