A brief statement about the Metahuman Evaluation and Tracking Administration, the semigovernmental organization in Lindsey's universe that deals with metahumans. They're somewhat cross pollinated between SHIELD, and Project Cadmus. There's also a dash of Men In Black, the Superhuman Registration Act, and Damage Control all mixed in.
Basically, META keeps track of registering metahumans, keeping them out of each other's way, and coordinating responses to massive threats. They're also responsible for the Enhanced Reality Alteration Scaled Enumerator system.
SHIELD, Damage Control, Superhuman Registration Act all belong to Marvel/Disney.
Project Cadmus belongs to DC Comics.
Men In Black belongs to Marvel as well, apparently.

Flopsy would be both Mystical and Extrahuman, then. Her strength, toughness, healing, and other abilities are enhanced by magic woven into her being during her creation, though even without it she'd still be quite a bit stronger than most humans. (And by ERASE standards, she'd probably be somewhere between 5 and 6. It'd take her some time/effort, but she could probably do some damage to a building's structural supports and bring it down, at least partially. She can lift around 1600-1800 pounds in her natural form, and land from about a 5-story drop without harm.)
She was created via magic, and has enchanted gear (collar and horseshoes), but she recently discovered she has the ability to use magic after all. She had thought that, being a Living Construct, she didn't have a soul. As it turns out, one got accidentally and unknowingly pulled in during her activation (and is actually the only reason she awoke in the first place, and is why none of the others did). During her Big Fight (Chapter 11), she uses a spell she subconsciously copied from Phantasy Star IV, and afterwards has to move the enchantment in her collar to a new one (Chapter 13). She's still getting used to the idea of being able to use magic, and she wasn't paying as close attention to runes as she probably should have, so she really only knows a couple fire spells and some notes she copied out of a set of books on enchanting items (and made a "practice item" in Chapter 12 for a friend).
