Copied from her entry in my dA gallery (from SEVEN YEARS AGO...FFFFFUUUUUUU...):
"A funny thing happened while scraping the excess story crap off of Leo Edwards: it took on a life of its own and became a halfway decent character.
"This is Leanne Edwards, half-sister to Leo's counterpart from another dimension and current holder of the codename "Gaijin." The idea was that, during his wanderings away from the GSIF, Leo learned that he was actually the bastard half-lion son of a now-deceased wandering swordsman, which was how he came to gain his swords and legacy, the Way of the Jade Path. Part of accepting this, however, involved facing a version of himself from a world where he lost his first major battle against the creature the Way of the Jade Path was created to combat, the psionic parasite named Oni. The corrupted counterpart, dubbed "Shogun," and Oni's successful possession of the immortal Kyrin weren't the only ways this dark world was different...Shogun had a younger half-sister that he didn't know about who was hastily initiated into the Way of the Jade Path after he fell to Oni's power. She infiltrated their fortress as a concubine, slowly making her way towards the seat of power to kill them both.
"When Oni and Shogun turned their covetous eyes towards other worlds in other dimensions, they accidentally pulled the Leo from the main timeline into their world, where he made like Samurai Jack until he finally faced Shogun in one-on-one combat. This gave Leanne the opening she needed to strike at Oni, using knowledge she'd gained from the heroic Leo, and, as a result, she gained the Kyrin's gift of immortality and healing blood. Leo, realizing that, unlike himself, Shogun was NOT immortal, struck him down and banished him and the spirit of Oni to the ley membrane, just as he had in his own world. In the process, though, both he and Leanne were yanked back to the mainstream timeline.
"Now trapped on a world she was never born on, Leanne took the name "Gaijin" for her own and stands by Leo's side, eventually joining the GSIF as well."
Huh...halfway decent character, indeed. Maybe I'll ditch the walking plot hole and keep her instead. His gateway power (think the power from the movie "Jumper") would definitely make her archery skills something to truly fear.
