SO...going off of his entry over at dA, this was going to be my attempt at redeeming the original Leo "Gaijin" Edwards character. Apparently, it involved making him into an even bigger douchebag than before, I guess...
OK, I'm being needlessly critical. It's not a bad look, it just needs a little refinement...it IS over 7 years old, after all. It just wouldn't work for the character as he was...and since he was a horribly contrived ripoff of both Gambit and the Highlander...
AUGH! No, the point of this is not to rip on my older work, especially when it looks way better than anything I've drawn in years. Still, it's interesting to look at now; this was drawn when I finally stopped resisting and accepted the lion as my totem and was trying to redo my "pseudo-fursona" character who was previously a cougar into it...yeah, I used to take the furry thing a LOT more seriously back when I actually had a life. Funny how losing everything real can make you TOTALLY reassess your fantasy life, huh..?
