It's been 3 years since I drew Mordecai and Rigby so here we go!

Not only is there a technical improvement, but the approach is completely different. In the 2020 pic Mordecai is sheepish, maybe even embarrassed by his weight. And Rigby is the smug one, teasing him.
On this one, we can see an even fatter Mordecai, he has picked up the habit of smoking (probably stinking up the entire house with a lingering tobacco smell), and is unashamedly huge, he doesn't care how much he takes up. He's the smug one now.
And Rigby is now reduced to his plaything, only there to find Mordecai's buried, tiny, yet valuable treasure.
