King Ahadi is often too exhausted after dealing with the day-to-day responsibilities of running a Kingdom to be much of a personality, often seeming disheveled and grumpy, but he loves his family and always tries to be the best he can for them. He adores his Queen, and is a kind and nurturing father to their cubs, providing them the wisdom they need to grow into exceptional lions. He is a benevolent ruler, respectful of the circle of life, which he always stressed to his cubs to pass on to future generations.

As Prince of the neighboring pride (one that rules the lands around the river that leads into the gorge on the border of the Pridelands), he's known his fate and grew up with his entire life planned out from the day of his birth. To further unite their prides and create peace, Ahadi was betrothed to Uru. While their relationship began a bit rocky, as any arranged marriage would, they are generally pleased with their lives and the progeny they raised together, despite Taka being born a bit of a runt. Ahadi was never cruel to his frailest son, though he did spend much more time with Mufasa; after all, it takes a lot of time to raise a son worthy of taking over your kingdom someday.
