(She seems like she's saying "See? Nothing to see. Happy now?" in the drawing. Hence the title)
I'll warn you now, icky biology talk follows.
I often mention in the streams how Three looks sort of androgynous and doesn't really show any primary gender characteristics. Her species all look that way before puberty and unless they're nursing or in estrus the females are relatively flatchested. If they have children they may be a little more prominent, but for the most part unless they're 'in use' there's nothing to see.
Since Three was irreversibly sterilized (the equivalent of a hysterectomy) she always looks like this. Compounded by the fact that a very active lifestyle makes her muscular She's often confused for a male. She's used to it and it normally doesn't bother her, but in situations where she can fit into society without hiding or being considered a monster she'll sometimes throw herself into her feminine side and take stronger measures to appear female, like the extra long bangs or feminine clothing. To her own race, she'd resemble an adolescent.
She won't ever cut her hair off completely as her race is born hairless, and having short hair on one's head is associated with looking like a child. That little ruff below her neck is a similar trait although it doesn't grow as quickly as the hair on her head. (And note I said hair, not fur. She doesn't shed and it all grows continuously just like hair.) She does have her vain side and even though she can't remember her name, her home, or her race, she's vain enough to remember that extremely short hair means she looks like a baby.
Males of Three's species grow manes, not quite like lions but it is a shaggy ruff along the head, shoulders, and neck.

This actually explains a lot about the recent picture of Three in a toga. There's a lot that could be inferred about Three's personality from this statement, ranging from mere vanity to a desire for intimacy, but my guess is that she was raised to be feminine back on her homeworld, and when she's not hiding herself or struggling for survival, she just wants to establish some sense of normalcy for herself, and this is one of the more profound ways she does so. Given all that she's seen, done, and had to endure, I don't think anyone can begrudge her for that.

With the hips I wanted her to have some female body characteristics, just not primary ones. Males of her species are more broad in the shoulders while the females have baby bearin' hips. It's an excuse to play with anatomy so that I can show the gender of a character without using obvious traits. Things like that fascinate me and it's fun to draw.
Now here's a different sort of question.
Three and her whole species may not show much in the ways of biology, but what sort of decency ethics does her species have? In three's travels she would encounter many sorts of different cultures with many different sorts of rules as to what they consider "descent" or "covered". While she may adapt to conform to their individual customs, what does three herself feel the most comfortable in?

Her race traditionally covers themselves most of the time. Women can go topless with slightly less stigma in situations like the beach or really hot days, but for the most part the standards are similar to our own. That said, Three is a little more shy because of her condition much in the way someone who thinks their body is unattractive would cover it up. Even on worlds where it might be perfectly okay to wander around in the buff, she's not very likely to.
I didn't even have to read the description to get what was going on. XD I just saw the thumbnail and read the title... and had to laugh!
Interesting part about her biology though. =) And makes a great deal of sense. Some species probably wouldn't have breasts (or at least, obvious ones) unless and until they're needed. Kiddies gotta eat, after all.
