Between the different layers we know as time and space and reality, exists a film of emptiness. Like the negative of a roll of camera film, creatures exist without reason. Yearning for the souls they will never have. Reaching out, and consuming them over and over in hopes one day they will escape the call of the Void and get a soul of their own. They patrol the borders of existence and non-existence, eating every last lost soul that wanders too far from god.
