Very true, I was going for the sort of thing I see in some cartoons, where there's a simple and stylized body hair added to some character designs.
It's something I definitely need to practice and experiment with drawing a bit more, but given my drawing style, it might be for the best to simply omit chest hair when I draw shirtless humanoids.
